The Transnational Political Economy
of African Migration to Australia

This project develops a collaborative research program between academic and policy experts from migrant source countries in Africa (with a focus on Ghana and Kenya) and Australia as a receiving country to lead emergent theoretical and policy debates on key development and integration outcomes of migration. The project explores transnational migration across the Indian Ocean by employing an innovative Delphi method to generate new insights into the drivers and impacts of growing African-Australian diasporic activity.
