AfREC Expert Discusses the Late Robert Mugabe’s Legacy in the Media

 AfREC Postgraduate Coordinator and UWA PhD Candidate in Political Science & International Relations Tinashe Jakwa has spoken in the media about the legacy of former Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe, who died aged 95 in Singapore on 6 September 2019.


Ms Jakwa, an expert on politics and international relations in Southern Africa, was interviewed as part of an SBS News video story and ABC RN Drive radio story. Tinashe has previously been interviewed on ABC RN Drive at the time of the ousting from power of then-President Mugabe in November 2017 and has also written about these events for Australian Outlook here (Nov 2017) and here (Jan 2018).
